Whatsapp Channels - How they are different from whatsapp groups

Whatsapp recently added a new feature in the App called "channels".
A WhatsApp channel is a one-to-many messaging platform that allows businesses to send messages to a large group of people at once.
Channels are a great way for businesses to stay in touch with their customers, promote new products and services, and provide customer support.
Whatsapp Groups Vs Channels:
You may be wondering why WhatsApp channels are necessary, given that WhatsApp groups can also be used to send messages to many people at once, however,
There is a
Key distinction
between
WhatsApp groups
and
Channels.
WhatsApp groups are best for communicating and collaborating with people, while channels are best for sending announcements and updates to a large audience.
Key distinctions:
- In WhatsApp groups, members can only see messages that were sent after they joined the group. In contrast, in channels, members can see all messages from the last 30 days.
- WhatsApp groups are conversational, meaning that any member can send messages to all others (if the admin allows). In contrast, only admins can send messages in WhatsApp channels.
- WhatsApp groups have a limit on the number of members, while channels can add unlimited followers.
- WhatsApp groups can have multiple admins and everyone can add new members to the group, however, Channels are administrated with only one admin.
- Everyone can react and forward messages in WhatsApp groups while only members can do the same in channels.
